Mission Opportunities at Bluff Park Baptist Church
Women On Mission
Mission Statement:
To inform and inspire the contemporary Baptist woman to influence her world for Christ.
We have two groups of Women on Mission. Group #1, facilitated by Judi Price, meets the 2nd Sunday of the month immediately following the worship service. Bring your own lunch. Group #2, facilitated by Opal Boyd meets the 4th Tuesday of the month at 10:00am.
Current Projects for WOM 1 and WOM 2
- The Green Springs Ministry (Food Closet}.... on going Bring the staples to the church and we will take them to the food closet.
- A mile of pennies for the Alabama Baptist Childrens home (until we reach our goal ) There is a "bank" at each door for your pennies .
- Pop-Top tabs from canned colas etc for the Ronald McDonald House. There will be containers for the tabs in our Sunday School rooms.

Children in Action, Grades, 1-6, Teacher: Libby Lee
Mission Friends, ages Four-Kindergarten, Teacher: Angie Barber
Children in Action groups meet each Wednesday at 6:30pm while the adults meet for prayer meeting in the sanctuary.

Women on Mission would like to know the women who would be available to prepare a dish for those in our congregation who have had an illness or surgery, who are not members of a Sunday School class. If you will participate in this hand-on mission project, call Josie Burgess or Judi Price.
